Matthew Hicks comes to us fromBoston,Massachusetts.He graduatedfrom the University of Massachusetts atAmherst in 2001 with a degree inJournalism and a minor in ComparativeLiterature.He also studied French andtranslation at the Institut Catholique deToulouse:he is perfectly bilingual.Hebrings over 8 years of experience inEnglish teaching(including language,grammar,civilisation,exam preparation,and essay writing)as well as lengthyside career as a cultural journaist andtranslator.
Although Matthew has several areas ofexpertse,it is worth pointing out thathis Paris writing workshops were veryenthusiastically attended.His teachingstyle is characterised by an intensefocus on building excellence in bothwritten and oral expression.
